For those interested in becoming a financial advisor, Edward Jones offers a dynamic role that combines entrepreneurship with personalized client service. Financial advisors partner closely with clients to help them reach long-term financial goals such as retirement planning, wealth building, estate strategies, and funding education. New advisors develop and grow their own practice with strong support from branch teams, home-office resources, and regional colleagues. This role requires a unique blend of ambition, self-motivation, and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to ethical service and helping clients achieve their financial aspirations.
The firm supports advisors with robust resources, including paid training to obtain necessary licenses and registrations, a guaranteed salary for up to five years as advisors build their practice, and dedicated branch office support. Advisors benefit from a vast support network extending locally and nationally, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to thrive independently but without isolation. The compensation structure aligns with effort and performance, featuring commissions, profit sharing, and incentive travel opportunities with no cap on earnings.
Financial advisors at Edward Jones lead branch teams to deliver seamless client experiences while managing business planning and fostering a culture of trust and accountability. Their duties include creating comprehensive financial strategies, engaging in sourcing and referrals, and ensuring adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements. The role perfectly suits individuals interested in financial markets, lifelong learning, and impactful community involvement.
Edward Jones values diversity, equity, and inclusion and actively seeks candidates with varied backgrounds, including those with military experience or financial services qualifications. The firm provides ongoing regulatory training to keep licenses current and maintains a supportive, collaborative working environment. With competitive benefits such as health insurance, disability coverage, retirement plans, paid leave, and flexible schedules, Edward Jones offers a compelling career path for motivated financial advisors who want to make a difference.
