Edward Jones is a renowned financial services firm, recognized as a Fortune 500 company, with more than 20,000 financial advisors serving over 9 million clients across the United States and Canada. The firm is privately owned, which allows it to focus on client needs rather than shareholder returns. Founded on a century-long heritage of client service, Edward Jones has developed a reputation for being an inclusive, innovative, and flexible organization. It fosters a culture that values people by ensuring employees feel seen, heard, respected, and supported, making it an excellent place to start or grow a career in financial services.

The role of Financial Advisor at Edward Jones is a dynamic opportunity for individuals eager to build a career that combines personal ambition with the satisfaction of helping others achieve their long-term financial goals. From retirement planning to wealth accumulation, estate strategies, and funding education, financial advisors become trusted partners to their clients by developing tailored investment and financial plans. Supported by a strong branch office team, a regional network, and a robust home-office infrastructure, financial advisors enjoy both independence in managing their practices and the security of wide-reaching organizational support.

Edward Jones provides its financial advisors with unparalleled support systems including comprehensive paid training programs that prepare individuals to pass essential registrations and licensing exams such as the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66. For up to five years, advisors receive a competitive salary while they build their client base, alongside opportunities for commissions, profit sharing, and incentives like travel awards. The firm also offers flexibility in work schedules to ensure an effective balance between personal and professional life. Advisors are encouraged to engage deeply with their clients’ needs and to foster a respectful, accountable, and trust-driven branch environment that supports community impact and business success.

In addition to a rich compensation package, Edward Jones places strong emphasis on personal and professional growth, valuing an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives contribute to overall success. The company also ensures ongoing training and professional development to maintain licenses and keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Edward Jones presents a rewarding career path for those motivated by challenges, relationship building, and leading a business that positively impacts clients and local communities.
