With a rich history dating back to 1909, ABM has grown into a comprehensive service provider that caters to a diverse portfolio of industries such as commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. ABM’s extensive service offerings include janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical services, landscape and turf management, as well as mission-critical solutions. Supported by over 100,000 team members across 350+ offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM is a global leader in the facility services industry with annualized revenues approaching $8 billion.

The role of Field Supervisor of Janitorial Services at ABM is a critical leadership position focused on overseeing janitorial staff on a designated account and shift, specifically for the 3rd shift at Terminal E. This position requires consistent standing, patrolling, and driving throughout the terminal, ramp, and cargo areas to ensure the highest levels of productivity and customer service standards are met. The Field Supervisor functions as the frontline leader, providing technical guidance to employees, troubleshooting operational challenges, and ensuring adherence to company policies and client requirements. The supervisor is responsible for upholding the company’s No-Fault Attendance Policy and monitoring daily employee lunches and breaks to maintain operational continuity. Administrative functions such as preparing daily shift reports, performing basic payroll, and attendance duties are also integral to this position. In addition, the supervisor will be expected to conduct safety and quality audits, partner with Safety Quality Managers, and ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory standards established by ABM and its clients.

Physical demands for this position include the ability to stand, walk, and/or drive for extended periods during a work shift, as well as the capability to lift 50 pounds or more. The work environment features moderate noise levels and requires strict adherence to company uniform and grooming standards, as well as possession of a valid State Driver’s License and SIDA badge/Airport ID. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, with at least three years recommended. The position requires individuals aged 21 or older with a commitment to professionalism, safety, and excellence in service delivery.

ABM is a military-friendly employer, offering a world-class training program and significant opportunities for veterans transitioning to civilian careers. They emphasize diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. ABM provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and development of its employees. Compensation for this position is competitive, with hourly wages ranging from $25.00 to $27.73, subject to the successful candidate’s qualifications and market data. Additional incentives and bonus opportunities may also be part of the compensation package.

Interested applicants are encouraged to apply through ABM’s official website to be considered for this rewarding career opportunity. ABM is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application process to ensure an inclusive recruitment experience.
