As a Field Project Engineer at Baker Construction, you will be a crucial member of the field team, working primarily alongside craft workers to support construction activities. This role requires hands-on engagement with project layout, managing daily resource needs, overseeing lay-down yards, tracking daily costs, monitoring time and quantities, maintaining logs, and preparing daily and weekly look-ahead schedules. You will collaborate closely with superintendents, project engineers, and the QA/QC team to drive project productivity, support safety initiatives, and ensure a safe work environment. This position offers a dynamic environment where technical skills and teamwork merge to facilitate successful construction outcomes.
