Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients that exclude artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Since its inception, Chipotle has differentiated itself by redefining the typical fast-food experience through a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation. Operating restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle uniquely owns and operates all its locations in North America and Europe, allowing for consistent quality and operational excellence across its global footprint. The company embraces technology and sustainable business practices, positioning itself as a leader in the digital transformation of the food industry while nurturing a values-driven culture focused on people and community.
The role Chipotle is looking to fill is that of a Field Leader, a pivotal position designed for driven professionals who are passionate about multi-unit restaurant management and team leadership. As the company experiences rapid expansion, opening a new restaurant approximately every two days, Field Leaders play a critical role in scaling operations while ensuring each location upholds the high standards that Chipotle is known for. This opportunity offers a dynamic career path for leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to cultivating better experiences for both employees and guests.
Field Leaders at Chipotle oversee multiple restaurant locations, fostering strong partnerships with restaurant managers and ensuring operational efficiency. They are tasked with driving sales, managing profit and loss, forecasting, staffing, and fostering a culture where food safety is prioritized. The role is not just about operational oversight but also about leading through others by developing team members and enabling restaurant managers to succeed. A strong focus on the guest experience underpins all activities, highlighting the importance of a customer-first mentality.
Those joining Chipotle in this leadership role should bring a friendly and enthusiastic attitude coupled with well-rounded business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. The company values leaders who have prior multi-unit restaurant experience and can foster a food safety-first culture while being able to jump in and assist wherever needed. The role also offers opportunities for personal and professional growth supported by robust benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, tuition assistance covering up to $5,250 per year for select degrees, and paid time off.
Chipotle is proud of its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply. The company upholds fair employment practices, striving to create an environment where everyone is respected and has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities are available. Join Chipotle to be part of a purpose-driven company that continues to shape the future of fast food and cultivates a better world through responsible business and employee excellence.
