The FAST Service Specialist role at Opensity is a dynamic and client-facing position focused on providing a range of administrative and support services for multiple client accounts in the local market. It offers a unique opportunity to engage in various operational activities including receptionist duties, hospitality management, mail handling, copy and print services, as well as facilities support. This full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, demands a high level of professionalism, multitasking ability, and flexibility around work schedules and locations. The Specialist acts as a key point of contact and support for client interactions, emphasizing hospitality and efficient task execution. The compensation for this role can reach up to $22.00 per hour and may include eligibility for an annual bonus, depending on the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

Primary responsibilities include answering and routing incoming phone calls, warmly greeting visitors, maintaining and restocking conference rooms and kitchen areas, handling mail and package distribution, and managing copy and print projects effectively. Additional duties involve maintaining supply inventories, supporting small office moves, performing basic maintenance tasks, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of client environments. Flexibility is a critical attribute for success in this role, as Specialists must be willing to adjust their schedules to accommodate absences, vacations, and other changes on a weekly basis. The role also has physical requirements such as the ability to lift or move packages and materials up to 40 lbs and to carry wheeled carts up to 75 lbs. Candidates must also be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, and walk as needed throughout their shifts.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a customer services field
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs or greater
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to work all shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday including 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • This is a full time position (40 hours per week)

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and route to appropriate person
  • Greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Coordinate and maintain client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens
  • Inspect and restock supplies to ensure readiness for continual use
  • Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies
  • Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed
  • Meter, sort, and distribute mail and accountable packages
  • Accurately produce copy, print, and scan projects per written instructions
  • Maintain copy rooms and stock general supplies
  • Deliver paper and perform basic daily maintenance
  • Assist with hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services
  • Communicate with client contacts regarding building and equipment concerns
  • Flexibly cover different shifts and work locations as needed
