As part of their culture, they emphasize the promotion of internal growth opportunities, recognition of employee achievements, and the advocacy for a healthy work-life balance. As a franchise that operates independently, each Wendy's location under Wenspok Companies maintains distinct compensation, benefits, and career development programs that may vary locally but consistently reflect the organization's overall values.
The role of Fast Food Manager at Wenspok Companies is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations. Serving as the second-in-command alongside the General Manager, the Fast Food Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences while driving sales growth and maximizing profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in managing personnel, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, collectively known as QSC standards. The Fast Food Manager's duties extend beyond daily operational management to include coaching and developing staff, ensuring food safety compliance, controlling inventory and expenses, and safeguarding the Wendy’s brand and assets.
The position entails creating an environment where team members are motivated and equipped with the training and guidance needed to perform at their best. They oversee scheduling to provide optimal team coverage and ensure compliance with all company protocols and health regulations. They should demonstrate at least two years of experience as a Shift Supervisor or one year as an Assistant Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably within the quick-service or fast-casual sector. Flexibility with working hours, including the ability to work rotating shifts and holidays, is essential. Additionally, a valid driver's license and reliable private transportation are required.
The ideal candidate is someone with proven leadership ability to manage teams in a fast-moving environment, possesses a strong understanding of cost of goods sold and financial management, and demonstrates excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Those with experience managing high-volume quick-service restaurants and proficiency with computer systems, financial oversight, and operational management will find themselves well-suited for this role.
Wenspok Companies offers a competitive base wage reflective of the candidate's experience along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and prescription plans. Paid vacation, life insurance, and a retirement savings program with a guaranteed 5 percent match are also provided. Employees have access to various wellness rewards and enjoy robust career development paths supported by a culture of internal promotion. Nearly all managers have risen through the ranks within the company, showcasing the strength of the organization’s commitment to professional growth. Fast Food Managers will be positioned to be integral members of a business valued at over one million dollars and supported by dedicated resources and guidance tailored to help them meet their career goals.
