Fast Food Attendant (FFA)

The Fast Food Attendant (FFA) position is a vital role within the Food and Beverage Operations department, specifically located in turnpike service areas. This non-exempt role reports directly to the Concept Manager and involves a range of operational responsibilities designed to contribute to a high-quality guest experience in a fast food or snack bar setting. Operational duties extend to accurately handling cash and credit card transactions, following all guest experience protocols, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in food and stock areas. They are also responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cooking tools, and sanitizing workstations and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.

The role demands physical stamina as attendants are required to stand for long periods, lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical movements such as climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling. It also requires good communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
