Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years food and beverage operation experience
- 1-2 years management experience
- Culinary, sales, and service background required
- Safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
- Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of computer operating systems and programs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and exert mobility for extended periods
- Must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work varying schedules
- Adherence to company safety and security policies.
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of food and beverage operation experience
- 1-2 years of management experience
- Culinary, sales, and service background
- Safe server alcohol and food handlers certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
- Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of MS Office, PMS, PBX, key systems, and POS
- Knowledge of food products, preparation standards, and quality control
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of relevant labor laws and regulations
- Ability to lead meetings and maintain communication between staff and management.
Job Duties
- Plan and direct the functions of the food and beverage outlets to meet daily operational needs
- Support and manage the hotel food and beverage outlets while collaborating with the hotel manager and other department managers
- Conduct short and long term planning for all outlets including restaurant, bar, and in-room dining
- Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories and prepare reports for accounting
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue enhancement and cost control
- Manage department budget, marketing plans, and operational schedules
- Collaborate with culinary team on menu creation
- Consult with sales and banquet teams and other departments as required
- Manage payroll and attendance for food and beverage staff
- Control food, beverage, and labor costs
- Ensure quality and consistency of food products and service
- Lead, coach, and train the food and beverage team
- Maintain high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance
- Monitor customer satisfaction and recommend new policies when necessary
- Serve as a role model by adhering to policies and high standards of performance
- Arrange and supervise training for new staff and cross-train existing staff
- Attend all mandatory meetings and follow up on guest requests
- Implement company safety and security policies and report maintenance issues
- Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.
