The Food & Beverage Manager role at Sheraton Memphis Downtown is a vital leadership position within the hotel’s food and beverage departments. This role involves assisting the department head in overseeing daily operations to ensure that all food and beverage activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and service. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
minimum two years experience in food and beverage management or related field
valid food/beverage service worker permit if applicable
proven supervisory or management skills
age meeting jurisdiction requirements
proficiency in math and language skills as required
ability to maintain health and safety standards
effective communication skills
no history of behaviors posing threat to health or safety of others

Job Qualifications

read, write and speak English
two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
two years banquet management experience preferred
food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
effective communication skills
meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
previous supervisory and management experience
8th grade math level proficiency
high school reasoning level proficiency
12th grade language use level proficiency
no direct threat to health or safety of self or others

Job Duties
