Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience in food and beverage management or related field
- valid food/beverage service worker permit if applicable
- proven supervisory or management skills
- age meeting jurisdiction requirements
- proficiency in math and language skills as required
- ability to maintain health and safety standards
- effective communication skills
- no history of behaviors posing threat to health or safety of others
Job Qualifications
- read, write and speak English
- two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
- two years banquet management experience preferred
- food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- effective communication skills
- meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- previous supervisory and management experience
- 8th grade math level proficiency
- high school reasoning level proficiency
- 12th grade language use level proficiency
- no direct threat to health or safety of self or others
Job Duties
- assist department head in oversight of food and beverage departments
- ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service
- implement marketing strategies to maximize profits
- interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule and manage staff
