The Food & Beverage Manager role at Sheraton Memphis Downtown is a vital leadership position within the hotel’s food and beverage departments. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years experience in food and beverage management or related field
  • valid food/beverage service worker permit if applicable
  • proven supervisory or management skills
  • age meeting jurisdiction requirements
  • proficiency in math and language skills as required
  • ability to maintain health and safety standards
  • effective communication skills
  • no history of behaviors posing threat to health or safety of others

Job Qualifications

  • read, write and speak English
  • two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
  • two years banquet management experience preferred
  • food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • effective communication skills
  • meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • previous supervisory and management experience
  • 8th grade math level proficiency
  • high school reasoning level proficiency
  • 12th grade language use level proficiency
  • no direct threat to health or safety of self or others

Job Duties
