In this leadership capacity, the manager is responsible for analyzing operational data such as daily food sales, attendance figures, and labor costs to maintain financial efficiency and control. They ensure compliance with health regulations and liquor laws, inspecting food service facilities to meet or exceed state and local standards. They also support the implementation of sales initiatives, promotions, and guest engagement programs to drive business growth and enhance patron experiences.
This role requires excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills. The manager must be able to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently, work effectively under pressure, and provide leadership that fosters teamwork and cooperation among staff across departments. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as event schedules often include nights, weekends, and holidays. The physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.

Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Food and Beverage Management or a related field and at least five years of industry experience in a management role, with a minimum of three years in venues such as arenas, convention centers, or stadiums with capacities of 5,000 or more.
Employees at accesso ShoWare Center are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance after meeting service requirements, as well as participation in a 401K plan, paid holidays at time and a half, and accrued sick time.
