Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 60 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- Ability to climb ladders for inventory purposes
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to comply with all time and attendance policies
- Ability to lead and engage associates to achieve goals
Job Qualifications
- Proficient reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding of English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Leadership experience in food service or retail environment
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
Job Duties
- Direct and supervise all food service department functions and activities to meet sales and profit goals
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies including HAACP and HAZCOM programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to department QA standards
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service while promoting current charitable campaigns
- Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of department associates, providing feedback and fostering teamwork
- Monitor product presentation including stocking, rotation, pricing accuracy, and signage compliance
- Manage department operations including invoice verification, inventory control, staffing, and adherence to labor regulations
