Job Description
CloudKitchens is an innovative tech startup that is revolutionizing the food delivery industry by providing state-of-the-art facilities and technology to optimize restaurant delivery operations. Founded with the vision of transforming how food is prepared and delivered, CloudKitchens offers shared kitchen spaces, called ghost kitchens, equipped with advanced kitchen infrastructure, technology, and support services. These spaces empower restaurants and food entrepreneurs to efficiently reach their customers without the need for a traditional dine-in space, thus reducing overhead costs and increasing delivery speed and quality. As a forward-thinking company, CloudKitchens harnesses technology to streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and ultimately reshape the future of food delivery worldwide. The company culture encourages innovation, flexibility, and continuous growth, making it an attractive workplace for individuals seeking both part-time and full-time employment opportunities within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
The role of Facility Care Operator (Janitorial) at CloudKitchens is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall environment of their tech-enabled facilities, specifically at locations like Fort Worth Food Works. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks that ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety are met, which is vital for both the health of customers and the smooth operation of the kitchens. Facility Care Operators use advanced cleaning equipment and follow comprehensive cleaning schedules, including the weekly cleaning of commercial hood filters, oil caddies and tanks, restrooms, and common areas. Beyond cleaning, the role emphasizes excellent customer service, requiring operators to interact professionally and courteously with facility patrons, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively. Safety and compliance with health regulations are foundational in this role, with operators required to adhere strictly to established protocols to maintain a secure environment for everyone.
This position offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time employment types, catering to a range of availabilities from minimum 15 hours per week up to full-time 40-hour weeks. The shifts are available seven days a week, covering morning to night schedules, allowing employees to find a time slot that fits their lifestyle. While prior experience in cleaning, sanitation, or customer service—preferably within commercial kitchens or hospitality—is valued, no prior experience is necessary, opening doors for those looking to enter this field. CloudKitchens supports the growth and development of their team members, offering opportunities for career advancement along with competitive compensation that reflects experience, skills, and qualifications.
Employees at CloudKitchens enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that adapts to both part-time and full-time statuses. For full-time employees, benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with HSA options, life and disability insurance, various voluntary insurance plans, flexible spending accounts, and even pet insurance discounts. Paid time off policies encompass vacation, holidays, sick time, bereavement, and parental leave, contributing to a supportive and balanced work environment. Part-time employees also receive paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and bereavement leave, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the well-being of its workforce.
Joining CloudKitchens means becoming part of a dynamic company dedicated to innovative food service solutions and committed to serving those who serve others. This role is ideal for candidates seeking a meaningful position in a quick service and fast-food restaurant setting with a focus on hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction.
