The Facilities Technician III role is based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, and is a fully onsite position that reports directly to the Facilities Manager. This role is essential for maintaining and operating the physical infrastructure of Kenvue’s facilities, including critical equipment such as chillers, compressors, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, and fire protection systems. As the Facilities Technician III, you will perform routine and emergency maintenance, ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of all building systems. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks such as conducting regular inspections, addressing repair needs, supporting project management for facility-related projects including remodeling and equipment installation, and contributing to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. This position requires a hands-on approach with strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to coordinate with both internal teams and external contractors.

The annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $60,690.00 to $85,680.00, depending on factors including experience, skills, education, and work location. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of compressed air systems, chiller operations, boiler operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software and basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of normal working hours
  • Technical or vocational training in facilities management or related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as HVAC certification or electrical license are a plus

Job Duties

  • Perform routine compressor and chiller/tower maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address maintenance issues
  • Repair and replace defective equipment, fixtures, and systems as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services
  • Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Participate in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
  • Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within the facilities
