The Facilities Assistant role within GWS Local is integral to providing an outstanding white-glove workplace experience in a premier Class A office building exceeding 400,000 square feet. This position supports the Facility Management team in maintaining an impeccable environment that supports productivity and comfort for tenants and visitors alike. Working primarily from Monday to Friday with shift options available, the Facilities Assistant plays a hands-on role, dealing with office setup and the upkeep of shared spaces through regular cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting of office equipment and furniture.
This role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate workplace services such as janitorial duties and minor maintenance requests, ensuring that any workspace or building issue is swiftly addressed in partnership with other facility service teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with customers directly, addressing their concerns with professionalism and promptness, essentially acting as the face of GWS Local in facility interactions.
Furthermore, the Facilities Assistant is tasked with assisting light-duty adjustments, delivering necessary supplies, and utilizing technology tools provided by CBRE to monitor workplace conditions. Commitment to safety is critical, with adherence to all relevant codes and regulatory requirements a prerequisite. Other duties include physical labor tasks like loading and unloading materials and assisting with setup for meetings, thus demanding a versatile, well-organized, and customer-focused approach.
CBRE values its people and offers a collaborative culture based on respect, integrity, service, and excellence. They encourage growth and welcome diverse perspectives, making this role not just a job but a career opportunity within a globally impactful company. The offered compensation ranges from $45,000 to $66,350 annually, reflecting the employee's skills, qualifications, and experience, with a commitment to equal employment opportunities and reasonable accommodation provisions.
