City Winery is currently seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to maintaining the venue’s high standards by ensuring that all facilities are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of repair and upkeep responsibilities, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC maintenance, and general facility inspections. This position demands a hands-on problem solver who is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently while keeping the venue running smoothly. Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting
- strong carpentry skills and experience with woodworking tools and equipment
- proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of painting materials and products
- basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
- ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the venue including carpentry work such as building shelves repairing furniture and installing fixtures
- painting walls ceilings and other surfaces as needed
- plumbing repairs and minor electrical work
- HVAC system maintenance and filter replacements
- flooring repairs
- general maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the venue
- conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards and address them quickly
- maintain an inventory of tools equipment and supplies and ensure they are properly stored and maintained
- collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations
- always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
