  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and keep active for long periods of time

Job Duties

  • Communicate calmly and timely with kitchen and FOH staff
  • Ensure food meets spec, presentation, and guest modifications
  • Verify plates are served at the right temperature and garnished correctly
  • Account for every item on the ticket and manage course timing
  • Safely store tickets for reference
  • Maintain a clean, organized expo window
  • Properly care for equipment and utensils
  • Keep own kitchen work area organized
  • Follow food rotation procedures
  • Collaborate with servers and bartenders for special guest requests
  • Confirm correct plates for each FOH member
  • Ensure proper order entry in the point of sale system
  • Take ownership of and resolve guest issues promptly
  • Leave the establishment crumb-free and food-free at closing
