The Bellevue Club Splash Restaurant is currently inviting applications for a part-time Expo to join their dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in supporting food servers by managing table detailing, presenting food efficiently, taking orders accurately, and assisting with overall guest services to ensure a positive dining experience. Candidates must be available to work Thursday through Monday, aligning with the restaurant's operational needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Availability to work Thursday through Monday
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Must be 21 years of age or older preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in an expo or similar food service position preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas
  • Flexibility to work Thursday through Monday
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Age 21 or older preferred

Job Duties

  • Assists food servers with all pre-meal side duties
  • Prepares and stocks the various restaurant stations with all food and beverage items
  • Clears tableware items and resets tables in a timely manner following proper sanitation procedures
  • Evaluates and maintains the cleanliness of the dining room and various restaurant stations
  • Maintains a basic knowledge of the menu and available wines
  • Assists food servers with table detailing, pours water, and clears and replaces silverware, dishware, etc
  • Communicates with Manager when items are low and should be ordered
  • Assists food servers with all closing side duties, restocks various restaurant stations with service ware plates, cups, silver, etc
  • Stores all food and beverage items and clears and cleans the various stations
  • Sweeps the dining room and/or the patio when appropriate
  • Disassembles, cleans and reassembles assigned service equipment
  • Replenishes low quantities of cleaning supplies as well as breaks down heavy duty cardboard for recycling
