Job Requirements
- Experience working as a chef
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and health and safety guidelines
- Ability to delegate tasks and work collaboratively
- Capacity to handle high traffic and busy sushi bar environment
- Availability to work full-time or part-time
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts including day, evening, and night
- Located in or willing to commute to Colorado Springs, CO
Job Qualifications
- Experience working as a chef
- High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
- Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
- Adaptable to high traffic and sushi bar volume
- Strong creativity and menu development skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated and reliable work ethic
Job Duties
- Train and develop chefs to company standards
- Create new dishes and menus in accordance with business needs
- Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
- Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
- Delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
- Adapt to high traffic and sushi bar volume
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen
