Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a chef
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to delegate tasks and work collaboratively
  • Capacity to handle high traffic and busy sushi bar environment
  • Availability to work full-time or part-time
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts including day, evening, and night
  • Located in or willing to commute to Colorado Springs, CO

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working as a chef
  • High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
  • Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
  • Adaptable to high traffic and sushi bar volume
  • Strong creativity and menu development skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivated and reliable work ethic

Job Duties

  • Train and develop chefs to company standards
  • Create new dishes and menus in accordance with business needs
  • Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
  • Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
  • Delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
  • Adapt to high traffic and sushi bar volume
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen
