Intuit is currently hiring passionate and motivated individuals for the role of Tax Expert - TurboTax Store, available in various new TurboTax retail locations across the United States on a seasonal or year-round basis. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement. Working on-site at a TurboTax location, a Tax Expert serves as an enthusiastic community ambassador and trusted advisor, fostering local relationships and delivering tailored tax solutions that address the distinctive financial scenarios faced by each customer. This position plays a critical role in expanding TurboTax’s client base within local communities by leveraging the powerful marketing support and state-of-the-art tax software provided by Intuit.

The Tax Expert is committed to offering comprehensive tax preparation services, including filing simple to complex tax returns such as personal and business income, deductions optimization, and amendment filings. The role requires keen attention to detail and a personalized approach to tax consultations in order to minimize tax liabilities, uncover potential deductions, maximize refunds, and provide valuable future tax planning advice. Customer engagement is both in-person and virtual, utilizing Intuit’s advanced video communication tools to ensure accessible and convenient service. Providing an exceptional customer experience that encourages long-term client loyalty is paramount, with emphasis on professionalism, empathy, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals such as saving for retirement, education, weddings, or vacations.

This nonexempt position requires on-site presence and offers flexible scheduling, typically requiring a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with scalability during peak tax season. The role’s work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, demanding strong multitasking skills, technological proficiency including experience with tax preparation software and CRM tools, and the ability to operate independently.
