Job Duties
- Ensure the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
- provide a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
- assist guests in selecting menu items by explaining food and bar menus, recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chef’s features, and identifying wines
- answer all food and beverage preparation questions thoroughly
- notify managers of special accommodations such as food allergies before reporting to the kitchen
- maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas around guests
- complete opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties
