This commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has cemented PFG Specialty's reputation as a trusted partner in the foodservice supply chain.

Located in Orlando, Bar Harbor Seafood is a distinguished seafood distributor known throughout Central Florida for its extensive selection and quality offerings. The company proudly carries over a hundred fresh and live species of seafood, as well as 300 varieties of frozen and specialty products. As part of the PFG Specialty family, Bar Harbor Seafood continues to provide customers with outstanding seafood products coupled with passionate service. The company's dedication to quality and customer care has made it a premier choice for seafood distribution in the region.

The Fish Cutter position at Bar Harbor Seafood is a critical role responsible for ensuring fish products meet precise portion control specifications and quality standards. This role operates within the evening to early morning hours, with a typical work schedule of five days per week including Monday through Saturday shifts, and Sundays off. The night shift work schedule from 6pm to 3am allows the Fish Cutter to prepare fresh seafood cuts that can meet the demands of busy restaurant clients and foodservice providers.

Fish Cutters utilize hand tools skillfully to perform portion control cuts, ensuring that all fish products are cut to the exact specifications required for client orders. Maintaining quality control and sanitation is paramount in this role, as proper handling and preparation of seafood products impact food safety and customer satisfaction. Additionally, Fish Cutters are expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to overall operational efficiency and supporting the broader team’s objectives.

This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $30 depending on experience, providing a competitive salary reflecting the skill and expertise required. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in fish cutting or seafood processing to join a respected company that values quality craftsmanship and excellent service. Working at Bar Harbor Seafood allows employees to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering premium seafood to some of the finest restaurants in the region.

As an equal employment opportunity employer, Performance Food Group and its subsidiaries uphold a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. All applicants and employees receive fair consideration regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws. This nurturing environment fosters respect and professional growth for all team members.

In summary, the Fish Cutter role at Bar Harbor Seafood offers a unique blend of skilled craftsmanship, night shift work, and the chance to contribute to a leading seafood distributor's success.
