Assisting new residents with paperwork, conducting employment and credit checks, and collecting deposits and rent payments are key administrative tasks of the role. You will also be the primary communication link for residents regarding lease terms and community policies.

Further, you will be responsible for following up with leads, ensuring apartments are move-in ready through inspections and adding finishing touches when necessary, and creatively marketing the property to attract new residents. Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media
  • Knowledge of leasing software a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI, etc
  • Ability to work weekends as required

Job Qualifications

  • Background in real estate, retail, sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Exposure to social media platforms
  • Knowledge of leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI is a plus
  • Ability to work weekends as required

Job Duties

  • Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and closing leads
  • Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
  • Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins
  • Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
  • Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate
  • Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
  • Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
  • Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries
