Job Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Applicants under 18 may be required to provide a valid school work permit
  • Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handler Certificate before training
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Competent to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including frequent overhead lifting
  • Capable to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Read kitchen tickets and answer questions about modifications to ensure orders are accurate
  • Communicate guest requests or special instructions clearly to the kitchen and service team
  • Plate dishes with care, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to quality standards
  • Deliver food to guests promptly and accurately, providing a professional and courteous experience
  • Monitor and restock Expo refrigerator pars and other necessary items throughout the shift
  • Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen and service areas are ready for the next shift
  • Anticipate needs during service to help create a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests
  • Maintain all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines
