Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sushi preparation and kitchen leadership
  • ability to lead and motivate a culinary team
  • excellent knife skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • strong commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 lbs
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation/order systems
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years in upscale sushi preparation and high-volume operations
  • proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire culinary teams
  • exceptional knife skills and deep knowledge of sushi techniques and HACCP standards
  • high level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • comfortable with Microsoft Office and reservation/order systems
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present high-quality sushi with attention to detail, flavor, and aesthetics
  • own the sushi station’s setup, breakdown, and daily operations ensuring a seamless guest experience
  • follow HACCP guidelines and ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all perishable items
  • train, lead, and motivate team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism
  • partner with the Executive Chef to manage staff, implement company policies, and drive operational excellence
  • stay current with culinary trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance sushi offerings and overall dining experience
