Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in stewarding or related food service operations
  • Proven leadership experience in a hospitality environment
  • Strong understanding of sanitation, health and safety standards
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper maintenance and security of all food service equipment
  • Set and enforce sanitation standards, oversee compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize department costs
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor stewarding team members, conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations
  • Recognize team achievements and foster a high-performing team culture
