Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or related field, or A.O.S. in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training
  • 3-5 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate kitchen
  • Proven leadership skills managing kitchen staff
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in a kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or related field
  • A.O.S. in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience with a strong background in scratch cooking and catering
  • Proven experience managing kitchen teams and working in a high-volume, corporate environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Knowledge of food costs, product quality, and inventory control
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • ServSafe, HACCP, or other applicable food safety certification
  • Creative food presentation skills and an understanding of current culinary trends

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, ServSafe, production, and merchandising standards
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 7 hourly associates to meet operational goals and exceed customer expectations
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality food in a cost-effective manner
  • Manage all aspects of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
  • Support cost control management and monitor expenditures for the kitchen operation
  • Work alongside marketing and culinary teams to roll out new culinary programs and initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
