The company is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join their culinary team at Datadog, a premier technology company, where they provide top-tier corporate dining services. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who enjoys working in fast-paced, high-quality environments and has a passion for both commissary and catering operations. The Executive Sous Chef will support daily culinary functions, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and event service, ensuring that every guest and client experiences outstanding food and presentation. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with occasional evening responsibilities for catered events. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Proven background in fine dining restaurants hotels corporate dining or higher education food service
- Strong knowledge of food trends production techniques sanitation standards food safety cost controls and presentation
- Ability to lead train and manage a culinary team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel
- Ability to work Monday through Friday primarily daytime hours with occasional evenings for catered events
Job Qualifications
