Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for managing the entire banquet's kitchen in the absence of the Executive Banquet Chef at Mohegan Sun, ensuring quality standards and Health Department regulations are met. This role involves interacting with team members and supervisors courteously and assisting the Executive Chef in administrative duties.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • seven years supervisory experience in high-volume hospitality Food and Beverage operation
  • strong menu planning, coaching, team-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills required
  • organized, self-motivated, proactive with attention to detail
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
