Situated in a beautiful and serene environment, PVE offers a continuum of retirement living that balances exceptional care with a wide array of amenities focused on hospitality and community well-being. With a commitment to inclusion, teamwork, and investing in its people, PVE stands out as an employer that values its team members as much as its residents. The company's core values of Authenticity, Honor, Collaboration, and Service are deeply embedded in its culture, guiding the way all staff members interact and deliver exceptional experiences to residents. At PVE, employee wellness and job satisfaction are prioritized with competitive pay, flexible schedules, career advancement opportunities, and numerous team-centric events such as mixers, town halls, barbeques, and celebrations fostering a vibrant and engaged workplace.
The Executive Sous Chef position at Paradise Valley Estates is a full-time role that plays a critical part in the dining experience for the community’s residents. Entrusted with overseeing the kitchen's daily operations and food production, the Executive Sous Chef supports the culinary vision while ensuring all dishes meet high standards for taste, presentation, and safety. This position requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team of kitchen staff involved in food preparation, coordinate special events, and help shape menus that incorporate seasonal ingredients and resident preferences. Food safety and sanitation compliance are paramount to maintaining the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
In addition to hands-on cooking responsibilities, the Executive Sous Chef will play a key role in mentoring and training kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities also include inventory management and assisting with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations during both regular meals and special occasions. Flexibility to adapt recipes for dietary restrictions and preferences further enhances the dining experience for the community’s diverse population. PVE offers an inclusive work environment where the Executive Sous Chef is encouraged to grow professionally and contribute to a positive workplace culture while emphasizing a healthy work-life balance supported by on-site 24-hour fitness facilities and a comprehensive wellness program.
Joining Paradise Valley Estates means becoming part of a team that not only delivers exceptional care to senior residents but also commits to the personal and professional development of its employees. This is a unique opportunity for culinary professionals who take pride in their craft and seek a meaningful career within a supportive community-focused organization. The Executive Sous Chef role is ideal for those with strong culinary skills, supervisory experience, and a collaborative approach who are eager to contribute to a thriving, respected senior living estate.
