The Executive Sous Chef role is a pivotal position within Seville Golf & Country Club’s culinary operations. This leadership role requires a strategic business mindset combined with hands-on culinary expertise. The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operations and ensuring that every meal served meets the club’s high standards for quality and presentation. This role works closely with the Executive Chef to mentor, develop, and inspire the culinary team. The individual in this position also manages financial cost controls and operational procedures to maintain efficiency and profitability.
A key objective for the Executive Sous Chef is to elevate the culinary experience emerging from the club kitchen by sourcing the best seasonal products and staying abreast of current market trends. Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy working environment in compliance with sanitation standards and legal regulations is another fundamental responsibility. Recruitment, selection, and development of culinary staff with an emphasis on inclusivity and positive work culture are essential aspects of this role.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience at Executive Sous Chef level in a golf club, resort, hotel, or restaurant
- Degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Food and safety certifications
- Effective leadership, communication, and training skills
- Knowledge of special diets preferred
- Proficient with POS, Microsoft Office products, and social media
- Experience with private events, banquets, and a la carte
