The Executive Restaurant Manager is a crucial leadership role responsible for steering the restaurant towards achieving outstanding financial results through effective business management and operational efficiency. This individual will take full ownership of the restaurant’s financial performance, consistently analyzing key metrics to identify opportunities for growth and profitability. They will lead a highly motivated team by fostering a culture of high performance, providing coaching, and recognizing achievements to inspire excellence.
This position requires a hands-on leader who understands the intricate balance between delivering memorable Guest experiences and maintaining streamlined operations. The Executive Restaurant Manager will proactively manage the Guest journey by ensuring friendly, accurate, and swift service in a clean and inviting environment. They will promptly address and resolve any issues that arise and leverage Guest feedback to implement actionable improvements.
Additionally, this role includes engaging with the local community to attract new Guests and executing targeted marketing initiatives to enhance the restaurant’s visibility and sales. The Executive Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for compliance with all health, safety, and cleanliness regulations while upholding brand standards in every aspect of restaurant operations.
Candidates for this role should possess at least a high school diploma or GED and have a preference for 1-2 years of quick-service restaurant management experience. A basic understanding of profit and loss statements and how they impact profitability is essential, along with exceptional leadership and Guest service skills. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts in a work environment that may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and physical demands such as standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Job Duties
- Take full ownership of the restaurant's financial performance and actively work towards achieving desired outcomes
- Analyze key financial metrics to identify opportunities for increasing profitability
- Propel sales through outstanding Guest service, development of team members, and streamlined operations
- Monitor sales and labor performance to make timely adjustments as necessary
- Lead and motivate your team to surpass Guest expectations with friendly, accurate, and swift service in a clean environment
- Manage the Guest experience proactively, addressing and resolving issues promptly
- Analyze Guest feedback to uncover root causes and craft effective action plans for continuous improvement
- Engage with the local community to attract new Guests and implement targeted marketing initiatives
- Oversee the recruitment and selection of a talented restaurant team committed to excellence
- Inspire the team through recognition programs and foster a culture of high performance
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to Assistant Managers and staff to enhance team capabilities
- Model commitment to organizational goals and motivate others to achieve superior results
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness regulations
- Maintain brand standards and operational excellence in all restaurant functions
- Deliver on brand programs and promotions with precision and efficiency
- Identify operational challenges and coordinate maintenance support for equipment as needed
