Job Description

The Salty is an artisan donut shop known for its chef-made, craft donuts that rotate based on seasonality. They prioritize using high-quality, natural ingredients and maintain a donut menu free from artificial additives. The establishment also offers Intelligentsia Coffee and focuses on creating a positive and consistent guest experience.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, Exec Chef, Kitchen Manager, Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or equivalent
  • previous management experience in a kitchen setting leading teams of 7 or more
  • clear communication skills verbally and in writing
  • ability to independently manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in following and managing SOPs for maintaining product quality
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • leadership abilities to coach and mentor team members effectively
  • computer and mobile device proficiency
  • capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • fluent in English
