LaMar's commitment goes beyond traditional baked goods, aspiring to create unforgettable quality and visual appeal at every location. The brand has grown into a luxury artisan bakery and café platform that is as much about gourmet product development and artisan skill as it is about guest experience and premium service. With a culture that values innovation, quality, and excellence, LaMar's Donuts & Coffee offers a workplace that encourages growth, creativity, and leadership in the baking industry.
The Executive Master Baker plays a pivotal role in this high-caliber culinary environment, serving as the ultimate authority on baking excellence throughout both company-owned and franchised locations. This full-time, exempt position requires extensive expertise in artisan baking, product innovation, and team leadership. The Executive Master Baker is charged with designing, leading, and scaling a world-class baking program that not only meets but exceeds the standards of quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction. This role demands mastery in a wide range of baking disciplines, including artisan breads, laminated pastries, cakes, frostings, fillings, and advanced decorative techniques. Beyond production, the Executive Master Baker spearheads product development initiatives to create proprietary gourmet menus and seasonal specialty releases. In addition to baking, the role focuses heavily on training, setting standardized recipes, and establishing rigorous quality controls to certify bakers and maintain consistency across multiple locations. There is a strong emphasis on visual merchandising and guest experience, ensuring that every bakery display communicates freshness, luxury, and artisanal craftsmanship that aligns with LaMar's brand identity. This position reports to senior leadership and works collaboratively with operations teams to optimize both production efficiency and sales conversion while maintaining premium execution standards. Compensation for this role in Kansas ranges from $55,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits offered include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off and holidays, and travel and relocation support when applicable. LaMar's Donuts & Coffee is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
