This Executive Housekeeper position is a rare and rewarding opportunity to work full-charge in a luxury private residence situated in a full-service building on New York City’s Upper East Side. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will assume full responsibility for the general upkeep, deep cleaning, and polished presentation of the entire residence. This includes expert handling of laundry, with special attention to delicate fabrics and fine linens, maintaining impeccable order throughout wardrobes, closets, kitchen storage, and more. You will also provide knowledgeable care for fine furnishings, fragile decorative items, and specialty surfaces, ensuring the home’s unique elements remain in pristine condition.
Beyond daily housekeeping tasks, the Executive Housekeeper will manage household inventories, ensuring that supplies, toiletries, pantry items, and cleaning products are consistently available. The role also involves running household errands and shopping as needed to support smooth, uninterrupted household functioning. A significant part of this role is working directly alongside the existing household team, mentoring them diplomatically and modeling high standards, while nurturing a calm, efficient, and collaborative work culture.
