The role of Executive Chef - Travel Las Vegas, with a competitive salary of $75,000 and comprehensive benefits, is an exciting opportunity within CCL Hospitality Group. This position demands a seasoned culinary professional who possesses a sophisticated level of business acumen, organizational skills, and leadership capabilities. The Executive Chef will operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment that involves extensive travel—up to 100%—to manage kitchen operations and food production at various client sites. In this leadership role, the Executive Chef serves as the primary culinary ambassador for CCL Hospitality Group’s values, vision, and mission. They will oversee daily kitchen lineups, staff training, and the implementation of systems and processes across multiple business lines, such as senior living, healthcare, and retail management. The Executive Chef must lead by example, motivating both direct and indirect reports, and fostering a positive working environment characterized by innovation, collaboration, and high standards of service. Their responsibilities include developing menus and recipes, managing food and supply purchasing, enforcing HACCP and food safety standards, and maintaining excellent relationships with residents, clients, and internal stakeholders.
This position is tailored for a proactive professional with at least five years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef Manager. Ideal candidates will have experience managing dining service transitions and openings, possess relevant certifications such as Serve Safe, Choke Save, and Allergen certifications, and hold a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or Hotel/Restaurant Management. CCL Hospitality Group values strong communication, critical thinking, and the ability to influence without formal authority, making this role not only about culinary expertise but also about strategic leadership and operational excellence.
The Executive Chef will utilize advanced computer skills and business acumen to analyze trends, manage budgets, and implement effective scheduling, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting organizational goals. The role also requires physical stamina to work under the conditions inherent in professional kitchens, including exposure to various temperatures, repetitive motions, and prolonged standing or walking.
Joining CCL Hospitality Group means becoming part of an organization that offers extensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, flexible and holiday time off, and many wellness and support programs.
