The organization is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary innovation and operational excellence across all kitchen operations at The Harpeth Hotel. This high-impact role involves overseeing the culinary teams at 1799, McGavocks, and banquet services. The Executive Chef will be responsible for developing and executing bold, creative menus that both honor local seasonal ingredients and push innovative boundaries. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in kitchen management
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in budgeting and controlling food costs
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations including 1799, McGavocks, and banquet services

  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff including line cooks and sous chefs
