The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, inspiring their team to perform at their best while fostering a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities include managing kitchen operations smoothly, even in the absence of direct supervision, maintaining recipe consistency, coordinating staff training, and monitoring purchasing and budget specifications. The Executive Chef must have a deep understanding of food safety, cost controls, inventory, and operational reporting to drive continuous improvement and financial success.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $94,100 to $127,000 annually, with additional benefits such as relocation and temporary housing assistance. Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef
- 10 years of culinary experience in restaurants and catering
- ServSafe certification
- Food Safety Handler certification
- strong financial and computer literacy

- proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume industry-leading concept
- 10 years of culinary experience in established restaurants and catering companies
- certificate or degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- ServSafe and Food Safety Handler certifications required

Job Duties
- Lead and cook by example and provide guidance to all team members
- ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently in your absence
- develop and maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures
- coordinate training activities for kitchen and back-of-house associates
- hire, train, and mobilize kitchen and service teams to provide impeccable service
- determine purchasing specifications and budgetary allotments for all menu items
- prepare operational reports and analyses and make appropriate recommendations for success
- maintain knowledge of and compliance with all company policies, service procedures, standards, and Health Department regulations
- maintain excellent kitchen hygiene conditions
- manage invoice tracking, labor tracking, schedule preparation, food cost management, labor cost management, inventory control, and hiring, counseling, and termination policies
- conduct regular inspections at events to observe food preparation quality, service, food appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, equipment, and employee appearance
