Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary experience
  • At least 5 years of cooking experience
  • Ability to stand regularly and walk frequently
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable with working at waist to shoulder level regularly
  • Proficient in speaking and understanding English
  • Willingness to handle kitchen equipment and knives safely
  • Ability to work full-time on a 10-hour shift schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience of at least 3 years
  • Proficiency in cooking with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Strong background in hospitality, restaurant, and culinary arts
  • Experience in kitchen management and shift supervision
  • Knowledge of food production and inventory control
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Develop and create new menu items in line with current food trends and customer preferences
  • Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Oversee food purchasing and storage to maintain quality and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events and banquets
  • Monitor inventory levels and control food costs effectively
