Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to lead culinary operations at a high-profile events venue, managing the culinary team to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. The position involves overseeing the kitchen's daily activities in accordance with company policies and objectives to maintain a positive work environment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2-3 years kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant or events venue
- demonstrated track record of meeting projected costs
- professional appearance and presentation
- knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
- current Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit if required
- working knowledge of employee scheduling in a hospitality environment
- ability to obtain and maintain certification in a nationally recognized sanitation program
- technical proficiency in food preparation methods
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to develop and motivate staff
- problem-solving and decision-making skills
- detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule availability including nights and weekends
