Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to lead culinary operations at a high-profile events venue, managing the culinary team to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. The position involves overseeing the kitchen's daily activities in accordance with company policies and objectives to maintain a positive work environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2-3 years kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant or events venue
  • demonstrated track record of meeting projected costs
  • professional appearance and presentation
  • knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
  • current Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit if required
  • working knowledge of employee scheduling in a hospitality environment
  • ability to obtain and maintain certification in a nationally recognized sanitation program
  • technical proficiency in food preparation methods
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop and motivate staff
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible schedule availability including nights and weekends
