Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in senior culinary leadership
  • ServSafe Manager certification
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Availability to work variable schedules including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to manage large teams

Job Qualifications

  • Proven track record of achieving operational targets in food service management
  • 5 or more years of senior kitchen leadership in multi-faceted venues
  • Advanced administrative and computer skills
  • Strong budget and report writing abilities
  • Ability to lead a team of more than 40 people
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to write creative and profitable menus
  • ServSafe Certified - Manager Level
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Obsessive about planning, time management, and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Manage all food ordering and stock rotation, including preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
  • Construct and maintain an effective operational structure and build relationships with logistical partners
  • Allocate and manage time efficiently across all museum culinary outlets
  • Introduce logistical solutions for multi-floor food service delivery
  • Implement and maintain SOPs and recipes for kitchen procedures
  • Compile and manage staffing schedules aligned with budget requirements
  • Conduct daily debriefings and attend leadership meetings to drive business forward
