Job Description

Butler Hospitality is a pioneering Hospitality Tech Company dedicated to transforming the food and beverage operations within full-service hotels around the globe. Known for its innovative approach, Butler Hospitality partners with some of the world’s top hotel operators including Hersha, Real Hospitality, Crescent, and M&R, delivering cutting-edge solutions that boost operational efficiency and elevate guest satisfaction. By taking control of hotel restaurants, Butler Hospitality seamlessly converts these kitchens into dynamic delivery hubs, offering virtual room service and catering options to nearby limited- and select-service hotels. This revolutionary model not only enhances customer experience but also optimizes resource utilization for hotels under its management.

The Executive Chef role at Butler Hospitality is a vital leadership position designed to manage and inspire kitchen staff while ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations. The role involves overseeing food supply deliveries, preparing special dishes, and supervising dinner service operations. The Executive Chef will work closely with the culinary team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective dishes in a timely manner, playing a crucial part in maintaining the highest food standards. Success in this role requires creativity, exceptional service orientation, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Apart from operational responsibilities, the Executive Chef will have the opportunity to influence the growth of new restaurant openings in the Los Angeles area by building strong teams of 40 to 50 members. This position also involves managing financial performance metrics such as P&L and COGS, with annual targets ranging between 5 to 7 million dollars. The Executive Chef will ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintain kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and impart knowledge on Butler’s proprietary menu items to kitchen staff. Leadership in this role extends beyond the kitchen, requiring interaction with multiple stakeholders to assure that Butler Hospitality’s reputation for culinary excellence and operational innovation is upheld.

The company emphasizes a supportive and growth-focused work environment, relying on team members who are not only skilled but also ethical, dependable, and customer-service driven. Butler Hospitality offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, a 401k plan, bonuses, paid time off, and a strong professional development and training program. The company is also committed to inclusivity and accessibility, providing reasonable accommodations when needed. The Executive Chef position offers a remarkable opportunity for seasoned culinary professionals looking to step into a challenging, rewarding role within a forward-thinking company making strides in the hospitality technology space.
