The company is the food, beverage, and retail provider at Little Caesars Arena, a premier 20,000-seat venue in Detroit, Michigan, home to the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons. Since its opening in 2017, Little Caesars Arena has set the standard for innovative club areas, premium dining services, loge boxes, suites, and concessions, offering unique and exceptional experiences for sports and entertainment fans.
Delaware North is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at Little Caesars Arena. This full-time leadership role commands an anticipated annual base salary ranging from $118,900 to $149,700, complemented by an annual bonus plan or an uncapped sales incentive plan based on company and individual performance. As Executive Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, inspire and develop culinary and service teams, and deliver exceptional dining experiences in one of the most iconic sports and entertainment venues in the United States.
The role requires a creative culinary leader who values innovation, operational excellence, and team development. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and mobilizing kitchen and service teams, developing and maintaining recipes and portion specifications, controlling purchasing and budgetary allotments, preparing operational reports to measure success, and ensuring compliance with all health and company policies. The Executive Chef must also be proficient in managing food costs, labor costs, inventory controls, and workforce management through scheduling, hiring practices, and performance evaluations.
This position demands a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and special events, to meet the dynamic needs of the venue. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, industry-leading concept, with at least 10 years of culinary experience in established restaurants or catering companies. A certificate or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred, and certifications such as ServSafe and Food Safety Handler are mandatory.
Delaware North is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, tuition and professional certification reimbursement, and friends-and-family discounts. This role offers the opportunity to propel your culinary career forward within a company that values people and offers unique paths for professional growth worldwide. Join Delaware North and contribute to shaping the future of hospitality, delivering memorable dining experiences for guests while working in an inspiring environment at Little Caesars Arena.
