This full-time employment opportunity involves managing all aspects of kitchen activities to ensure safety, sanitation, and operational efficiency. The Executive Chef is responsible for the meticulous execution of menus, maintaining high food quality and presentation standards, and providing dynamic leadership to the culinary staff. Working closely with hospital clients and TouchPoint management, the Executive Chef plays a critical role in upholding food safety regulations and contributing to a positive guest dining experience.\n\nThis role demands an energetic, hands-on culinary leader who is passionate about food and service excellence. The Executive Chef oversees menu planning and execution, adheres to standardized recipes and portion controls, and utilizes production records and inventory data to meet cost and quality objectives. Essential to this role is training, coaching, and mentoring kitchen team members on food preparation, safety protocols, sanitation, and company standards. The Executive Chef also ensures compliance with all applicable health regulations and company policies, maintains cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment, and manages food inventory and waste. Collaboration with leadership and participation in professional development initiatives are key elements of the position, with occasional responsibilities in catering operations and special events.\n\nTouchPoint recognizes the importance of a well-qualified culinary leader, preferring candidates with an associate degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field, accompanied by significant hands-on experience in high-volume foodservice environments. Five or more years of progressive culinary leadership or kitchen management experience is required. Experience in catering, institutional foodservice, healthcare, corporate dining, or batch cooking operations is strongly preferred. This role calls for proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary arts hospitality management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary leadership or kitchen management experience
  • Hands-on chef experience in high-volume foodservice environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen environment
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Availability to support catering and special events as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations ensuring high standards of food quality presentation and service
  • Plan and execute regular and specialty menus in line with guidelines and client expectations
  • Follow and enforce standardized recipes portion controls and presentation standards
  • Complete and utilize production records inventory documentation and waste tracking tools
  • Taste and evaluate finished products to ensure consistency quality and guest satisfaction
  • Train coach and develop culinary team members on food preparation equipment operation food safety sanitation and company standards
  • Establish and maintain cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment storage areas and workspaces
  • Manage food and supply inventories to maintain proper stock levels while controlling costs
  • Oversee the appropriate use of leftover products according to company guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local health regulations and company sanitation and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required incident and safety reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership teams and participate in departmental meetings training and professional development initiatives
  • Support catering operations and special events as needed
