The Executive Chef role at Aramark supports the culinary operations at the Frost Bank Center, a prominent venue known for hosting a wide range of events and performances. Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree preferred or at least 3 years related management experience
  • Previous experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team dynamic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and walk frequently
  • Availability for flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Report to and support Senior Executive Chef in overseeing the culinary team for daily operations and special events
  • Ensure proper culinary standards and techniques for food preparation including production, presentation, and service
  • Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees on best practice food production techniques
  • Coach employees to create a shared understanding of goals and methods
  • Reward and recognize employees
  • Maintain all staff records including training, shift opening/closing checklists, and performance data
  • Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport for business relationships
