We are a renowned fine dining restaurant based in Denver, specializing in high-quality seafood cuisine. We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all back-of-house operations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a great benefits package and bonus opportunities. The Executive Chef will play a critical role in developing and challenging creative culinary skills, standardizing recipes and plate presentations, and managing kitchen finances while ensuring the quality and freshness of all ingredients used in our dishes. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with a strong background in seafood and fine dining, as well as proven leadership skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with management to create a memorable dining experience for every guest and maintain the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sous or executive chef position
  • Proven leadership skills in a culinary environment
  • Experience in fine dining or high-end seafood cuisine
  • Knowledge of kitchen cost control and labor management
  • Ability to manage food quality and inventory
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time in person in Denver

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a sous or executive chef role preferably in fine dining or high end
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems including managing kitchen finances
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders and manage some budgetary elements
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Develop menu items and standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
