Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume upscale environment
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills
- Ability to manage kitchen staff hiring training scheduling and evaluations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to oversee inventory food costs waste control and budgeting
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume upscale environment
- Deep knowledge of seasonal and regional ingredients
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive kitchen culture
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Lead all kitchen operations ensuring consistency quality and presentation of all menu items
- Design and execute seasonal menus reflecting the culinary character of Blue Ridge GA while offering unique and memorable dishes
- Manage kitchen staff hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met or exceeded
- Oversee inventory food costs waste control and kitchen budgeting
- Collaborate with the General Manager on events wine pairings and special menus
- Build strong relationships with local farmers and purveyors to highlight the best of what Blue Ridge GA has to offer
