Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume upscale environment
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent organizational time management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff hiring training scheduling and evaluations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to oversee inventory food costs waste control and budgeting
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume upscale environment
  • Deep knowledge of seasonal and regional ingredients
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive kitchen culture

Job Duties

  • Lead all kitchen operations ensuring consistency quality and presentation of all menu items
  • Design and execute seasonal menus reflecting the culinary character of Blue Ridge GA while offering unique and memorable dishes
  • Manage kitchen staff hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met or exceeded
  • Oversee inventory food costs waste control and kitchen budgeting
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on events wine pairings and special menus
  • Build strong relationships with local farmers and purveyors to highlight the best of what Blue Ridge GA has to offer
