Job Requirements

  • Experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine required
  • Ability to manage cost controls and kitchen expenditures
  • Experience in high-volume production and catering
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Strong knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines
  • Ability to plan and create menus
  • Willingness to collaborate with marketing and culinary teams
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine required
  • Strong working knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines such as Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan
  • Ability to adapt traditional techniques to high-volume production
  • Strong technical foundation in wok cooking, sauce development, and traditional Chinese preparation methods
  • High volume production and catering experience
  • Previous experience managing cost controls
  • Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company

Job Duties

  • Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
  • Plans and creates all menus
  • Purchases and manages inventory
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
  • Oversees preparation and execution of Chinese menu offerings
  • Ensures adherence to proper cooking techniques and presentation standards
  • Manages kitchen staff and mentors culinary team
