Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 6 years culinary or food and beverage experience, or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related major with 4 years relevant experience
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage multiple food service areas
  • experience with budget management
  • capability to mentor and develop team members

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage industry
  • or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage industry
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • experience in menu development and food cost control
  • ability to train and develop staff
  • proficient in budgeting and financial management

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • provide direction for day-to-day kitchen operations
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation staff
  • develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
  • establish performance, budget, and team goals
  • monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation regulations
