Job Requirements
- Formal culinary education or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years progressive culinary experience
- At least 3 years in leadership roles such as Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- ServSafe certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Experience managing food costs and inventory
- Passion for culinary excellence and creativity
Job Qualifications

- ServSafe certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
- Passion for culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences
- Familiarity with Fresno community is a plus
- Consensus builder with collaborative and respectful leadership style
- Experience in country club, banquet, or off-premise food service is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop innovative and appealing menus for all food outlets including main dining, casual dining, banquets, and special events
- Create and standardize recipes ensuring consistency and quality
- Oversee food preparation and cooking adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Manage kitchen operations including food prep, cooking, plating, and cleaning
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff fostering positive work environment
- Manage food cost, purchasing, inventory control, and waste reduction
- Negotiate with vendors for best prices and quality
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations including HACCP protocols
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager and Sales & Event Coordinator for menu alignment and event execution
- Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and storage areas
